Who is Rick Triest?
“Colorful-Figurative” is the term with which artist Rick Triest (self-taught '89) prefers to describe his paintings; "A unique one-off combination of reality and fantasy, expressive, emotional and always rich in colorful colors." Themes are cows / chickens and often already commissioned Amsterdam and cityscapes.
The compositions in Rick Triest's paintings are colorful and made up of various layers of paint and techniques that he developed in his quest as a self-taught artist. The playful lines are often already thick on the canvas and give each work its own dynamics. The works are contemporary, cheerful, colorful and dynamically modern. The works fit perfectly in a rural living style, but certainly also in a modern or industrial interior.
Rick has more than 10 years of experience as an artist and has exhibited nationally and internationally. The works can be found in various corporate collections, including hotel companies. On the website you can read all about Rick Triest's work.
