    Product description

Sir Bobby in red dressing gown

The timeless oil paintings of Lady & Sir Bobby are so loveable that you never want them to leave your side.

These high-quality friends for life will comfort you and generations to come. Enormous dedication and a special eye for detail is poured into every piece of art. With the homely atmosphere that they create will make everyone feel welcome. The classic pieces will be treasured from generation to generation as timeless heirlooms

    Lady and Sir Bobby

A new signature, developed as a self-taught artist, inspired by the techniques of oil painting. This is in contrast to the Amsterdam Series, which are made of acrylic paint. Lady & Sir Bobby's paintings are inspired by the timeless and classic look of a preppy and elegant lifestyle. By combining the old and new, the timeless pieces fit into both a classic and modern interior.

Artist Note:The works consist of 6 to 8 layers of paint and are worked with Glazing techniques, (Frottis) dry brush techniques, Impasto technique and Alla prima technique (Wet in Wet) on parts in a specific order.

Due to the complex ingredients, homemade paint and the long drying time and time-consuming details, creating a Lady & Sir Bobby painting takes between 6 and 8 months. The larger pieces can take up to 2 years.

Paintings by Rick Triest are signed and provided with a handmade wax seal. Rick's works are also finished with a layer of varnish. The paintings are sold as is, including decorative frame.

Certificate of authenticity in walnut box

Accompanying luxurious & unique certificate of authenticity will be sent. Each certificate is made differently and is provided with paint and fingerprints by Rick Triest. The certificate comes in a luxurious upholstered walnut box and is approximately 16x16 cm and has a gold-plated signature.

    Visit the new studio

Located in Beinsdorp (Bollenstreek), Rick Triest has his Atelier & Gallery at home, an attractive space that breathes creativity. The painting studio reminds you of an old apothecary, full of various glass bottles, paint pots, tubes and other other artist supplies that Rick needs to create his work. The smell of wet oil paint, varnishes and fixatives is reminiscent of a painter's studio from the past. When you walk through his studio you see rough work and Rick's process, which makes for a special and memorable experience. In his new adjacent Gallery you will find his latest work physically hanging.
